Here’s a bunch of news, thoughts, process and equipment discussion on film and comics: I’m wondering how (and why) you make films – and comics – in the digital age … I’m enjoying thinking about the questions and working toward answers. I’d love you to join in the conversation.

I’ve directed two feature films, BLACK SHEEP and UNDER THE MOUNTAIN, both of which I’ve written or co-written. I’ve also co-written another, and written and directed a couple of short films and a whole bunch of music videos.

I’ve loved comics all my life, but only really been drawing them for the last few years. They’re a more immediate creative outlet than filmmaking: the challenges are just between you, your hand and the piece of paper (or, these days, computer screen). I like doing it very much.
